- Hi all,
-
- A friend of mine recently acquired a used A2232 card. I have yet
- to see it, but anyway, the main question he has is "What kind of cables
- do I use with this thing?" I had assumed it used 8-pin DIN-type cables,
- and he ordered one but it doesn't seem to work with any of his modems.
- Are there are special cables out there that he needs, or can he simply
- use a Mac modem cable?
-
- Also, I told him about the crystal doubling hack to get 38400 out of
- the card. Obviously, all ports running at 38400 will not be lightning
- fast, but I'm assuming its possible, correct?
-
- Email replies welcome.
